Lago di San Giuliano
The San Giuliano Regional Reserve Site represents the largest natural reserve in the entire province.
The reservoir is artificial and is one of the most important lakes in Basilicata.
Since 1976, this reservoir has been declared a regional natural oasis, and since 1989 it has been recognized as a WWF Italy Oasis.
Hunting is prohibited in the area and it is possible to go on birdwatching and historical and environmental excursions.
